In his role as Global Agronomic and Climate Resilience Advisory (ACRA) Coordinator, Wolfgang focuses on identifying the strengths, weaknesses and potential opportunities to create impactful and tangible change in growing agribusinesses, with an emphasis on climate change resilience for rural coffee businesses. Before coming to Root Capital, Wolfgang had a long history of working in agricultural sciences, natural resource management, and food safety, including a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resource Management. His passion for agronomic advice, climate resilience, fair trade promotion, and implementation of sustainable agricultural practices made Root Capital the perfect organization for him. In his free time, you can find Wolfgang enjoying Costa Rica’s beautiful parks and beaches, taking gorgeous photography, or cooking a delicious meal for his loved ones.
