Odalier Chacón

Growing up in Costa Rica’s Heredia province, I remember running past coffee trees on my way to school or when I played with my siblings and cousins. Coffee has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Through businesses like the ones we work with, this crop can create opportunities for so many people; I’m glad that I can help support this sector through my work. At Root Capital, I’m in charge of maintaining a healthy lending portfolio across Mexico and Central America, accompanying our loan officers in structuring, approving, and monitoring active loans. I’ve learned a lot in my time at Root Capital, and hope that I never stop learning!
