After getting a degree in Global Studies and Spanish, as well as traveling, volunteering, and working in Latin America, Marie has gained a deep interest in global food systems, agriculture, and international development. She brings experience in nonprofit operations to her role as Development Operations Associate, in which she supports the External Affairs team in managing donor and grant data by maintaining the integrity of this information in Root Capital’s CRM system to help fuel Root Capital’s fundraising goals. In her life outside of work, you will most likely find Marie reading, doing some sort of movement outdoors or trying a new restaurant with friends.
