Jimmy Vulembera

As an Impact Analyst, Jimmy supports Root Capital’s work by preparing impact evaluation studies, doing research, data cleaning and analysis, and reporting. Jimmy has backgrounds in international development and business, with a Master’s degree in International Development from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, an MBA in Finance from Brandeis University, and a BS in Economics from the Universite Catholique du Graben. Before joining the Root Capital team, Jimmy worked in risk management, policy and economic research, accounting advisory, and project audits. Outside of work, Jimmy loves learning new languages. He currently speaks English, French, Swahili, Kinande, and Lingala.
