Hannah Murray
Manager, Reports & Proposals
As the Manager of Reports and Proposals, Hannah co-leads report, proposal and concept note writing for Root Capital. She develops and oversees related procedures and processes to facilitate and improve cross-departmental collaboration in fundraising endeavors. Prior to joining Root Capital, Hannah managed a global grant-making program and spent more than a decade as a writing consultant for non-profits involved in environmental conservation, natural resource management, and sustainable agriculture. She holds a bachelor’s degree in African American Studies from Harvard and Master of Forestry degree from the Yale School of the Environment (formerly known as the Yale School of Forestry). When she’s not writing for Root Capital, you can find her gardening, exploring the great outdoors or experimenting in the kitchen.
