Carolina Garcia-Navarro

Carolina has a deep passion for gender equity and youth development. Her skills in organizational management and service-led teamwork are assets in her role at Root Capital. Carolina supports the Executive Office at Root Capital by working directly with senior leadership and the Board of Directors. Carolina was born in Panama to Cuban immigrant parents and spent much of her childhood in the United Kingdom before moving to the United States. She currently resides in Miami. She also has a diverse educational background with degrees in international relations from American University, film from the University of Miami and culinary arts from Toronto. When not working, Carolina enjoys reading, recipe testing and spending time with her family and French Bulldog.
