Blair Wrangham

As a Senior Risk Manager for Root Capital, I work across teams to develop and maintain credit policies and procedures that balance our risk appetite with our ambitious goals for impact. Before coming to Root Capital, I spent almost a decade with Self-Help Credit Union, focused on preserving homeownership for families in my home state of North Carolina. I also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Honduras for 2 years. Now, I’m excited to bring that experience to expand access to finance for small businesses and farming families in rural communities. In my free time I like to travel, dance (Latin and African social dances), read, and spend time with my Boston Terrier, Leo. My undergraduate degree is from UNC Chapel Hill (Go Tarheels!) and my graduate degree is from UNC Charlotte.
