Alia Haddad
Account Manager, Institutional Philanthropy & Partnerships
As Account Manager for Institutional Philanthropy and Partnerships, Alia works to support the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of Root Capital donors and prospects. She collaborates with the Primary Relationship Manager to generate and produce funding concept notes, pitches and proposals, and donor reports and communication. Before joining the Root Capital team, Alia worked as an account manager for Swell, Inc., a social impact marketing agency, and as fundraiser and events manager for a variety of nonprofits prior to that. She obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Cinema Studies from New York University. When she’s not at work, you can find her traveling, gardening, cooking, baking, hiking, or showering her cat, Abraham Lincoln, and dog, Spaghetti, with affection.
