Michelle Erikson

As Root Capital’s Senior Accounting Manager, I oversee our accounting operations in Cambridge and Latin America. I was drawn to Root Capital because the credit and training we offer helps people achieve sustainable livelihoods by doing what they do best. I enjoy being challenged by the complexity of what we do, and the flexibility we must demonstrate to adapt to our constantly changing business environment. Every day here is different, and I never stop learning — it’s a constant adventure. I love that we’re a truly collaborative global team, and I’ve especially appreciated getting to know my colleagues in Latin America and Africa. Outside of work, I love to travel; I spent time in both Costa Rica and Ecuador, and now enjoy going on trips with my family!
