Kyle Sweeney

Senior Climate Analyst

I was drawn to Root Capital after spending about ten years working on climate change or agricultural issues, often with little overlap. As Senior Climate Analyst, I support the development of the organization’s Climate Resilience Roadmap, our strategy to build the resilience of hundreds of agricultural businesses through a targeted blend of climate advisory and finance. In terms of education, I studied natural resource conservation in the United States and later earned a master’s degree in environmental assessment and analysis while living in Spain and Italy. In my spare time, you can find me climbing, cycling, or bowling. I also have a love for languages. I speak English and Spanish and I am currently studying Portuguese.
