Aelish Benjamin-Brown

Lending Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning (MEL) Analyst

As the Lending MEL Associate, I am responsible for coordinating quality assurance of incoming impact data for Root Capital loans and managing the impact monitoring of the organization’s Lending portfolio. Prior to Root Capital, I worked for the Grounds for Empowerment program at Emory University’s Social Enterprise Center and had the opportunity to help develop the Specialty Coffee Transaction Guide—an alternative price discovery for the coffee industry. Outside of the office, you can find me spending time with my cat Dizzy, visiting wine and coffee shops around Boston, and staying active through boxing and kickball.
