I’m responsible for managing the portfolio of Root Capital lending clients in Peru and Bolivia. I accompany our clients through the entire credit cycle, from assessing their initial loan application to ongoing monitoring and evaluation of current loans. I love that I get to personally visit each of my clients and witness the incredible impact that each of them has. Working with smallholder farmers isn’t easy, but I come back from each visit to the field feeling enriched as a person. This role has taught me just how much a single person or organization can do to change the lives of the people around them. Through the credit and training that we offer, I’ve seen many businesses grow from small associations to large organizations that anchor their communities. I never want to stop seeing that!
