General Counsel
As General Counsel (GC) for Root Capital, I am responsible for leading and maintaining the in-house legal department and its various functions, including compliance, governance, and enterprise risk management. My professional experience spans the public and private sectors internationally, with particular expertise in Africa and Asia. Along the way, I founded my own law firm focused on providing specialized legal services to nonprofits, foundations, and other social enterprises. I am a graduate of Brown University and Boston University School of Law. Outside of the office, I enjoy learning and performing dance and music, trying different restaurants, and hiking with my dog.
